Charming vibes and great food
We had a fab time chilling in a cozy room with a cool view of the park. The rooftop bar was a highlight, and the food in the restaurant was top-notch—especially the full English! Just a heads-up, the walk from the center is a bit uphill, so be ready for a little exercise.

The room could use a few updates.

Just a fine choice for exploring town in Nottingham with outstanding value for money. The toiletries were Elemis, which was a nice touch. Make sure to ask for hot water as it can run out quickly.

Had a fantastic group vacation with friends! We loved exploring the local parks and hanging out at the cozy bar. Rooms were modern and quirky, perfect for our stay! Just a heads up, if you want peace, expect some city noise. But honestly, the experience was so worth it, especially for the enjoyable outdoor space. Highly recommend it!
One issue was the heating. Despite setting it, the room got really cold, and we had to call down for help more than once. Thankfully, we were moved to a better room eventually.

There’s charm in the decor and a lovely terrace. Breakfast was great. the plumbing issues and disorganization during breakfast were disappointing. The bar food was decent, but overall, the service felt understaffed at times, which detracted from the experience.

I enjoyed the quirkiness of the decor, and the dining areas were relaxing. The breakfast on the patio was freshly cooked and way better than a typical buffet. I'd definitely return!

Charming and cozy decor with inviting spaces throughout. The location is superb, just a short walk from the city center, making it a convenient base for exploring.
Not having a reception upon entering was disorienting, leading to delays in communication. The room issues were concerning. I found old items in the drawer, and there was a persistent problem with the door not locking, which left me feeling unsafe. Although there were offers for assistance, the overall maintenance seemed inadequate, evident from the lack of tidiness and a clean feeling within the room, especially after cleaning staff was indicated to have been present. the Wi-Fi connectivity left much to be desired, which can be particularly frustrating for anyone needing reliable internet access.

My recent stay at The Walton was quite positive. The staff were attentive and genuinely friendly, making my work trip more pleasant. I particularly appreciated the charming decor and the comfort of the Deluxe Double Room, which provided a great atmosphere for relaxation after a long day. The location is also a plus, being conveniently situated near the city center while still maintaining a peaceful environment.
Some areas could use tidying and improvement.
